Statement Of Faith

BIBLE: 

​We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.

​

GOD:
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. .
 

JESUS CHRIST:
We believe in the eternal deity and true humanity of Jesus Christ, in His miraculous virgin birth and His sinless life. We believe His miracles as recorded in the Bible, His vicarious and atoning death and His bodily resurrection. We believe He ascended to heaven and is now the Head of the Church. We believe in His personal return in power and glory.
 

HOLY SPIRIT:
We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ in all that He does. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, and empowers believers for sanctified living and service.
 

TRINITY:
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, filling and gifts the Christian is enabled to live a godly and victorious life. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost that will be accountable to Jesus Christ the Judge of all the earth.
 

UNITY:
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ irrespective of race, gender or class.
 

CHURCH:
We believe the Church is God’s instrument of grace and the visible body of Christ. Our church is deliberately multi-denominational. We are not non denominational. We do not seek to avoid denominations. Instead we value the strength that each one brings. We need each other. As a church we are connected to the Christian tradition that comes to us through the centuries as well as with the new emerging churches. The church works intentionally at reconciliation among the different peoples and we work at building a strong community. It is our hope that the closer we draw to God the more we will hear his heart for the world.
